Our Impact
Where We Are & Where We're Going
We are the change we want to see.
Our lawyers and volunteers are dedicated to being agents of change. Since 2013, we have provided direct representation to over 700 clients and counting. Over three quarters of our clients receive pro bono services. The value of our free and reduced cost services amounts to nearly $3.3 million in donated time and expertise over the past 6 years.
Fast Facts:
- Our clients come from 27 different countries around the world. Map
- 77% of our clients received pro bono services. Chart

- Although most of our clients are from Latin America, not all of them speak Spanish. After Spanish, the most common languages spoken by our clients are indigenous Mayan languages, including Akateko, Mam, Qʼanjobʼal, and Ki’che’.
- The vast majority of undocumented immigrants are NOT criminals. They are actually more vulnerable to becoming victims of violence. We serve hundreds of survivors of crimes like domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking, which disproportionately affect women and girls. More Info
- We are based in Memphis, but we serve clients from the Appalachians to the Ozarks and across the Mississippi Delta. Map
