Family Unity Project
Keeping Families Together
MIA’s Family Unity Project promotes the economic security and wellbeing of our community by providing low-cost immigration services to low-income families. People who are not eligible for free services through our Children’s or Survivors’ Projects may pay a small, income-based fee through our Family Unity Project. Before receiving services, Family Unity Project clients must demonstrate a household income at or below 150% of federal poverty guidelines. We know family, however you define it, is the backbone of any community, and we believe that expensive legal fees should never be a barrier to family unity.
