Erika Bonilla is a Nashville-based Children’s Project Coordinator. She attended the California State University of Los Angeles, where she earned a B.S. in Psychology. Erika has worked for over 20 years, in various capacities as a translator and interpreter for the Spanish-speaking community.
She studied Psychology out of a desire to provide support for those who have endured hardships and traumatic events. Erika joined MIA because, having come to the United States as an immigrant child with immigrant parents, she is passionate about empowering immigrants and refugees by educating them about their rights. She would love to be able to be a source of hope for immigrant children and their families.
In her free time, Erika enjoys spending time with her husband, twin boys, and younger son. She also loves reading, crafting, and carpentry.
