Joanna Waddell, an attorney with the Children’s Project, earned her J.D. from the University of Memphis School of Law. Before attending law school, Joanna earned her B.A. and M.A. in Foreign Languages from the University of Memphis, and taught Spanish in the United States and ESL in Ecuador.
When she decided to become an attorney, Joanna was drawn to immigration law because she values helping others and enjoys working with people from other countries and cultures.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and their three dogs.
