Survivors' Project Coordinator

Survivors’ Project Coordinator Diana Miranda, is a Mexican immigrant raised in Memphis. She is a junior at Rhodes College, where she is pursuing a BA in English with a minor in Latin American Studies and Political Science. Within these studies, Diana is particularly interested in critical race and gender theory. On campus, she is a Writing Fellow, a Bonner scholar, a member of the Latinx Student Association and the SEARCH Advisory Council, and one of the Founders of the Rhodes College Provisional Chapter of Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad, Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc.

Diana has previously served as an intern at MIA for 2 years, during which time she developed a passion for immigration legal work and working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and similar crimes. In the future, she plans to attend law school and become an immigration and civil rights attorney.
