Skye McGinley is a Children’s Project Staff Attorney. She earned her Master of Laws (LLM) from Vanderbilt University, where she received the Pro Bono Service Award and LLM Merit Scholarship. Skye also holds a JD from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, where she was awarded the University Medal in Law as the top student in her graduating class. Prior to law school, Skye earned her Bachelor of Music (BMus) in classical voice at the University of British Columbia. Skye previously practiced law in Canada, where she clerked for the British Columbia Court of Appeal. Since moving to Nashville, Skye has been a volunteer advocate for children in the child welfare system.
